Alexis (Lexie) Kunz graduated from the University of Utah in 2019 with a B.S. in Psychology and a Human Factors Certificate. She has early research experience (independent research on mutual gaze/attraction at Snow College - 2016, Samantha Joel's Relationship Decisions Lab - 2017), but found her niche in spatial cognition. In 2017 she was a research assistant in Sarah Creem-Regehr and Jeanine Stefanucci's Low Vision Lab, examining variations of peripheral vision loss and its effect on spatial ability. For her senior thesis she worked with Kristina Rand and Ian Ruginski, examining GPS reliance and its effect on spatial ability and working memory capacities. She is now in the lab studying spatial cognition, with an interest in technological mediators.
