The Spatial Thinking Lab, along with UCSB collaborators Michael Beyeler (PBS, Dynamical Neuroscience, and Computer Science), Barry Giesbrecht (PBS and Dynamical Neuroscience), and Scott Grafton (PBS) have received a grant from the Army's Institute for Collaborative Biotechnologies to use Immersive Virtual Reality to study visual navigation and situational awareness during mission-relevant tasks under varying levels of threat.
